Hugo Chavez is not Darth Sidious

Every time there's a protest in Latin America, as in Bolivia this week, there's a tendency among some people to say "Hugo Chavez is behind it."

Chavez is not the sole source of bad things going on in Latin America. He provides a very limited amount of funding to some groups, but that funding is not what is causing the political and social unrest in Latin America. The funding plays a very small role and if Chavez didn't exist, these groups would easily manage to create problems without it.

Chavez wants people to believe he is the leader of a continent-wide revolution, and the only people who are strongly backing up his hallucinations are the people who believe he is the dark side of the force behind everything going on.
