Let me add my voice to Stygius, Praktike and Clemons that Nancy Pelosi should not replace Rep. Jane Harman on the Intelligence Committee. Harman is one of the few strong, credible Democrats on the issue of national security and her replacement would be a blow to the Democrats' image as well as to the job of the committee. Further, the person being considered as her replacement doesn't seem to have the same level of knowledge or credibility.
Meanwhile, Rep. Harman writes on TPMcafe from Iraq, where she is surveying the security situation as she tours the Middle East.
