It's time for the Bush administration to make up its mind. Either Chávez is a dangerous thug whose support for Latin American violent groups should be exposed to the world in a comprehensive way, or U.S. officials should be ordered to shut up. Otherwise, the U.S. claims will sound increasingly hollow.
