BBC reports that Canada's New Democratic Party has pulled its support for the Liberal-led governing coalition. This means that the Liberals will probably lose the next no confidence vote and new elections will be called.
A poll in the Globe and Mail last week showed a ten point drop for the liberals and showed the Conservatives with a slight lead. The Conservatives are likely to lose a bit of this support once the campaign begins, but the Liberals will also have a hard time forming a coalition considering the recent numbers.
