Yesterday, PRI presidential candidate Madrazo took a swipe at PRD candidate Lopez Obrador, comparing him to Chavez and hoping to build off the recent controversy. Randy calls Madrazo's statement desperate and I agree in the comment section with some other thoughts about the election.
Meanwhile, AMLO is trying to stay out of the dispute. There is no comment he could make that would help him politically; staying far back from the dispute and focusing on other issues is really his best strategy at this moment.
